Digital Product Designer

Do you have a passion for creating design across the current and emerging digital landscape?   Boston based, CTP, is looking to hire a Digital Product Designer who will work hand in hand with digital leads, developers and producers to create continually stronger and strategically on-target work. They would be responsible for the development and execution of creative concepts for leading edge digital marketing and web solutions. Requires a deep understanding of user-centered research, interactive development and content strategy with core strengths in user experience and communication design.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Creative Management:

  • Conceive, develop and manage an exceptional digital creative product;
  • Build strong, flexible relationships with internal teams; establish credibility and win confidence of colleagues;
  • Generate innovative ideas across all existing and emerging platforms;
  • Demonstrate your ability to articulate your point of view on strategic and creative initiatives;
  • Apply brand systems, typography, photography, color and other elements appropriately to create innovative, leading edge digital solutions that meet user and client needs;
  • Understand how to break out brand stories, whether in a single product across multiple devices, or across multiple points of contact in a user’s digital ecosystem;
  • Extend existing visual systems/brand guidelines across all mediums with moderate design changes or interpretation;
  • Embrace changing web standards and principles, and be able to communicate and integrate them within the team;
  • Solid understanding of web development processes including: Information Architecture/Site mapping, wireframing, UX, UI, structure and interaction prototyping, developer handoff, and quality assurance testing;
  • An understanding of design patterns and how design decisions have an impact on the implementation in HTML, CSS & JavaScript using web standards;
  • Understanding of motion design and the strengths and limitations of HTML5, Javascript, CSS3.

Leadership and Communication:

  • Share your passions for and knowledge of technology and digital marketing;
  • Demonstrate a clear, comfortable, persuasive presentation style in both formal and informal settings;
  • Exude strong problem-solving ability and showcase the ability to be flexible and adaptable;
  • Guide, teach and mentor junior members of the creative department in developing ideas further;
  • Communicate effectively in both a verbal and written manner;
  • Maintain the level of creative standards at CTP.
